Undocumented students will find a safe and supportive environment at EOU:
The state of Oregon, House Bill 2787 allows students who are not citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United State to pay resident tuition and fees in Oregon public universities under certain conditions.
While federal loans are not available to undocumented students, there are many private and local scholarships available. EOU has recently partnered with DREAM.US, a college access and success program for DREAMers, which provides financial support to undocumented students.
Student privacy is important at EOU and as with any part of the student record, immigration status is protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and remains confidential.
