Prospective Students

STEP I: Apply for EOU Admission

Submit all official transcripts – including your Military Training Transcripts

STEP 2: Apply for Student Federal Aid

STEP 3: Apply for military education benefits

A. Review your options for the military education benefits based on your eligibility
B. Apply online for your GI Bill® benefits
C. Contact appropriate EOU representative for support:

New/Transfer Students

Have you already applied for your VA benefits or used them elsewhere?

Contact Dorothy Jones – Certifying Official OR Kerry Thompson-Military/Veteran
Coordinator
to provide your Certificate of Eligibility letter, Enrollment Verification form,
Rights & Responsivities form and any other benefit related documents

Complete the CHANGE OF PROGRAM OR PLACE OF TRAINING form appropriate to the
benefit you are using i.e. form 22-1995 or 22-5495

Chapter 31 recipients: Your case manager will generate a PO that is sent to EOU approving your benefits.
After it is received, you will be certified for the appropriate term. Please submit a signed Rights & Responsibilities form. (link to forms section)

Continuing Students

You have a VA file @ EOU and are receiving benefits

Each term or for entire academic year you MUST complete the Enrollment
Certification Notification form
and return to the School Certifying Official. If you don’t,
you WILL NOT BE CERTIFIED for the term.

Complete and submit a PSL if you are taking additional classes at another
institution for the same term. Must be submitted prior to start of term.
