The Learning Center will close for the Memorial Day holiday on Friday, 5/22, at 5pm and reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, 5/26, at 7am.

Eastern Oregon University’s Learning Center, also known as the “LC,” is a vibrant student resource facility located in Loso Hall 234. The LC is home to an array of academic success programs that offer Eastern students numerous opportunities to master their coursework. All EOU Tutoring Services are free for current EOU students!
The mission of the EOU Writing Center is to promote students’ confidence in their practice of writing processes and critical thinking, and to support faculty. Writing tutorials are free of charge to all EOU students, undergraduate and graduate.
The Math Lab is located in Loso 232, just down the hall from the Learning Center, and provides math tutoring services that are available to all students currently enrolled at EOU.
The Learning Center employs students with records of academic success in foundational coursework to lead group study sessions.
Eastern Oregon University’s Disability Services Office provides students with disabilities equal access for successfully meeting their academic needs and higher education goals.
Individualized tutoring (on-campus and synchronously online) is available for writing and select courses through WConline. And eTutoring is available for writing and various subjects through EOU’s membership in a consortium of universities that pool tutoring resources to support students from multiple campuses across the country.
The LC lab contains 16 computers fully equipped with Microsoft Office products and Internet access. All of our computers connect to two black-and-white laser printers and one color printer. Printing is free if you bring your own paper, or can be purchased from the lab assistant for 20 cents for 10 sheets. There are also two scanners in the lab for student use.
Student lab assistants are available during open hours to assist with any questions you may have.
