Want to Become a Writing Tutor? The EOU Writing Center is staffed by EOU students trained as peer writing tutors. Our writing tutors have completed or are currently enrolled in Writing 220 Methods of Tutoring.
WR 220 is designed to teach writing and learning theories, and to promote effective dialogue about writing between tutors and students. WR 220 students engage in observations, practice, and reflection on these theories and techniques in face-to-face and online tutoring. The course meets standards for the lower-division University Writing Requirement (UWR).
For more information about WR 220, talk to your advisor or contact the Writing Center Director at email@example.com.
