On Friday, June 16th, at 8:30 a.m., there will be a rehearsal for the June 17th Commencement Ceremony. Although rehearsal is optional, graduates are strongly encouraged to participate. Rehearsal is an opportunity to become familiar with the layout of commencement, and what will be expected the following day.
Those graduates attending rehearsal should arrive at the Quinn main gym and enter through the north main entrance doors.
Look for signs around the building directing you to the entrance.
In early April, the University President will invite all qualified students to submit materials to be considered for the President’s Scholar Award. At that time the Academic Standards Committee will also send out information to the University Community encouraging the nomination of qualified students.
If nominated, the Registrar’s Office will additionally contact the student to let them know what application materials they will need to submit to be considered for the distinction.
The selected scholar will be notified by the University President and is invited to speak at Commencement as the President’s Scholar.
