The June 2021 commencement ceremony will be in-person. Graduates will walk across the stage and family and friends will be able to watch their graduate walk from a vehicle passing in front of the stage area. This is so adequate social distancing will be met and so we can ensure we are meeting other pandemic requirements.
The ‘drive thru-walking ceremony’ will be held Saturday, June 12 2021 at 10:00 am. We will honor all 2020-21 graduates as well as any 2019-20 graduates who would like to participate.
The line up will be as follows;
The ceremony will be livestreamed https://livestream.com/eou and will start at 9:30am with the commencement proceedings.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.

Graduates will ride in their vehicle to the commencement stage near Quinn Colosseum. The vehicle will let the graduate out of the vehicle at X1, the graduate will walk to the stage and across it having their name/degree read and receiving their diploma. Family and friends will stay in their vehicle and watch the graduate proceed across the stage. The vehicle will then pick up the graduate at X2 and leave the ceremony area out a designated route. The light blue line is the path the vehicle will take. The green box is the area where the stage will be.
Due to the nature of the ceremony there will not be a rehearsal.
