President’s Scholar

In early April, the University President will invite all qualified students to submit materials to be considered for the President’s Scholar Award. Additionally, the Academic Standards Committee will send out information to the University Community encouraging the nomination of qualified students.

The scholar has the honor of addressing fellow graduates, friends, and family at the Student Awards Assembly and at the Commencement Ceremony. Additionally, the scholar will receive a $300 award from the EOU Foundation.

The chosen President’s Scholar will be required to attend events in person at the EOU La Grande Main Campus.
