Donate to the OAP and have a lasting impact on our community.

Donations to the Outdoor Adventure Program help to fund a wide range of programs and activities!

IMPACT – Know that your support makes a difference in the lives of young people.

  • Over 3,000 youth visit the OAP’s Climbing Center each year.
  • We host dozens of schools, non-profits organizations, scouts, and church groups from all over the state.
  • The OAP supports GO-ASAP – an after-school program for local middle school students in La Grande and Baker City.
  • We offer week-long summer adventure camps for 6-12 year olds.
  • Our program provides free equipment rentals and climbing gym access to EOU students.
  • We offer dozens of outdoor activity courses for students and the broader community.

BENEFITS – Promote health and wellness, sense of place, skill development, self confidence, and academic success.

  • Help to improve health outcomes associated with increased physical activity and self-confidence.
  • Support a community venue where local youth can engage in activities that foster personal growth and promote a teamwork mindset.
  • Help build strong social support networks on campus and beyond which contribute to student success and retention.
  • Contribute to an appreciation for nature and the value of time spent in the great outdoors.
