How to enter a work order into the new Facilities Ticketing System by Brightly

Brightly is Facilities & Planning’s new ticketing system! Here are a few step-by-step instructions on how to put in a work ticket request:

On “my.EOU Portal” click on the tile that says Facilities Ticketing System & Brightly

(If this tile doesn’t show on your main page you will need to click on “VIEW ALL CARDS” in the upper right-hand corner and search for Brightly on that page) IF you have an eou.edu email you can enter a ticket.

IF you do not have an EOU email address contact the IT department at 541-962-3111

Once you have clicked on the Brightly tile you will see where you can enter information for your request:

Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required fields. Drop down menus can be used for all choices with the exception of “Location” here you will need to pick location icon in order to capture the correct location options.

When you click on the location icon a “select location” menu will pop up. Pick a location from the LEFT side menu by clicking on arrow to the left of the asset name:

Once the arrow beside the building name is clicked on it will open up to all room choices in that building.

Please be as specific as possible with the location and click on the room that pertains to the work order request:

Once you have click on a room It will look like the picture below with the room highlighted… Now you choose the single room listed on the right.

Fill in the rest of the required fields… Under “Work requested” please give as much information as possible so we can be prepared to take care of your work order request.

Pictures or documents can be added to make your request easier to find and/or understand.

Once you have all the information entered, hit the SAVE button, top left.
