Organized by NEOAHEC and the Eastern Oregon University Pre-Professional Health Club, the Health Speaker Series (HSS) engages undergraduate students and community members with unique health career presentations each academic term. Health providers, graduate students, or representatives from health career programs are invited to relay their educational and career journeys, advice for students considering their career, and thoughts about why it is so valuable to practice in a rural area. The guest speaker at the May 4 presentation will be Dr. Caleb McIllmoil, a practicing physical therapist at Grande Ronde Hospital.
