Eastern Student Entertainment

Eastern Student Entertainment (ESE) is a student organization that provides campus-wide programming for all EOU students. The programming board serves as a large programming unit of EOU by providing cultural, recreational, and social activities for the campus. ESE members are active in conception, planning, and implementation of these programs.

ESE receives most of its funding from student incidental fees (SIF). Through committee work, ESE decides how to spend that money and what events/performers come to campus. Because of extra expenses, some ESE programs have minimal admission charges to help support the overall program.

2023 – 2024 Events

• Thurs., Sept. 21 – 9 p.m. – Film Showing of “Monsters University” – Dorian Park
• Wed., Oct. 4 – 6 p.m. – Grocery Bingo – Hoke Community Room
• Mon., Oct. 9 – Spirit Week (Neon Day – pull out those bright colors and dress up in your best neon attire!)
• Tues., Oct. 10 – Spirit Week (Hero/Villain Day – are you a fan of heroes or villains? Dress as your favorite. The choice is yours!)
• Wed., Oct. 11 – Spirit Week (Wild West Day – join in on a rootin’ tootin’ good time and dress up in your favorite western outfit.)
• Thurs., Oct. 12 – Spirit Week (Crazy Hair/Hat Day – get creative and sport wacky hair or show off an eccentric hat!)
• Fri., Oct. 13 – Spirit Week (Mountaineer Pride Day – celebrate being a MOUNTIE and sport your best blue & gold attire!)
• Mon., Oct. 23 – Fri., Oct. 27 – 8th Annual Duck Hunt
• Wed., Nov. 1 – 6 p.m. – Disney Trivia Night – Hoke Community Room
• Thurs., Nov. 30 – 7 p.m. – Film Showing of “Elf” – EOU Fieldhouse
• Wed., Jan. 17 – 6 p.m. – Grocery Bingo – Hoke Community Room
• Thurs., Feb. 8 – 7 p.m. – Casino Night – Hoke Community Room
• Mon., Feb. 13 – 12 p.m. – Stuff A Valentine – Hoke 2nd Floor
• Tues., Feb. 14 – 12 p.m. – Stuff A Valentine – Hoke 2nd Floor
• Wed., Apr. 10 – 6 p.m. – Grocery Bingo – Hoke Community Room
