Programs and services offered by the Office of Strategic Equity Initiatives support the whole student through leadership development, educational support, and connections to university resources. The office works to strengthen student access and success by building a strong sense of campus community and helping students become successful graduates.
We recognize that students arrive with different backgrounds, experiences, and starting points, and our programs are designed with that in mind rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Because of this, we offer a range of programming so that all students can see themselves reflected in the opportunities available to them and find a genuine sense of belonging on campus. We also provide a welcoming place for students to learn, grow, and engage in activities and conversations that encourage critical thinking, helping students move beyond personal barriers and build a deeper understanding of fairness and their role in the broader community.
