Eastern Oregon University’s Office of Strategic Equity Initiatives brings the campus and surrounding region together each year through two signature events: the CEAD (Celebrate, Educate & Appreciate Diversity) Conference and ¡Conéctate!
Feeling connected to campus community makes a real difference in the college experience. Programs like CEAD and ¡Conéctate! gives students the chance to meet people who share backgrounds & lived experiences, learn from those who don’t, and build the kind of relationships that make EOU feel like home. Whether students are finding community, building confidence, or just showing up for a good conversation, these events are here to help students feel seen, supported, and ready to succeed, on campus and beyond.
Through sustained regional partnerships and a shared commitment to belonging, CEAD and ¡Conéctate! embody SEI’s role in building a campus culture where every voice contributes to a stronger, more connected Eastern Oregon.
