Description of learning activity or program:

Conduct individual information meetings to insure procedural fairness for all accused students and that the student knows his/her rights and responsibilities with regard to the Student Conduct Program.

    • This meeting will complement the University and the Office of Student Affairs by developing responsible and reflective actions through the awareness of conduct expectations and the process by which expectations are upheld either through the Residence Life Office or the Office of Student Affairs.

    • By meeting with the Student Conduct Coordinator, all accused students will learn about and understand the student conduct process and the avenues for which the processes take place. Students will be provided the opportunity to take a part in the conduct process by selecting the avenue of hearing they choose. In addition, students will learn how their actions and behavior can affect them now and in the future.
  • 5. How will the achievement of this learning outcome be evaluated, measured, or assessed? Describe measures to be used.
    • Outcomes will be measured through Student Conduct Coordinator observations of participants during the meeting, completion of sanctions, assessment of positive changes in decision making and behavior by not having repeat offenses or violations or behavior issues, participant feedback, and utilization of the on-line Student Conduct Program survey form.
