We are lucky to have a world-class adventure haven like Hells Canyon only several hours from campus. Explore the amazing scenery of the deepest gorge in North America w/ the OAP and the EOU Climbing Club. We’ll set up camp close to the beautiful limestone walls of “The Flatiron” and spend the weekend climbing the many sport routes in the zone. We might even have time to hit a hot spring! This area offers rock climbing for all skill levels. No experience necessary and the OAP can provide all your gear needs from climbing equipment to tents and sleeping bags. Transportation and all meals are provided.

Join us for a game of Capture the Flag, but…not just any ordinary game. This capture the flag is both more complicated and more fun as it’s a mix of both capture the flag and dodgeball. Gather your friends and show off your speed, strategy, throwing, and teamwork skills in this exciting game. Don’t miss out on the action-packed fun and school spirit (face paint and bandanas will be provided)! Register now and be part of the ultimate battle for victory! This is the perfect time of year to go for a hike! The wildflowers are in full bloom, the weather is incredible, and you and your friends can have a really fun time exploring a few miles of trail at our local 3,000 acre recreation area. The OAP will lead a 3-mile round-trip hike on one of MERA’s well-marked and maintained trails with beautiful views of the Grande Ronde Valley. Transportation is provided.

This is the OAP’s end of the school year celebration! We are putting on a BBQ and SUP party up at Morgan Lake. Enjoy the summer sun w/ us! We’ll provide all the BBQ fixins’ and drinks. Plus…we’ll supply all the water craft (SUPs and kayaks) for you to have a fun afternoon on the lake. Transportation is also provided.
