Dr. Henninger became the Dean of the newly reconfigured College of Business at Eastern Oregon University in July 2019. He holds a Graduate Certificate from the Harvard University Institute for Management and Leadership in Higher Education, a doctorate in Higher Education Administration and minor in Business from The Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from AACSB-accredited Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to serving for thirteen years in progressive leadership roles as a tenured professor in Business Administration at Lycoming College, Dr. Henninger served the Pennsylvania College of Technology as dean of the School of Business and Computer Technologies collaboratively leading new curriculum needs assessment and development, program review, initial and reaffirmed specialized accreditation and outcomes assessment for associate and bachelor’s degrees in Accounting/Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Information Technology, and Health Information Technology. Where workload permits, he continues to teach on-campus and online management, organizational behavior and human resource management courses.

Following his appointment as Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Dr. Henninger was able to accomplish a successful organizational transition, gained initial and reaffirmed healthcare specialized accreditations, developed new and substantially revised existing on campus and online programs and co-developed the College’s first master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
