Become a Partner

To become an official partner, schools and districts must:

1. Have a district or school level high school mentor assigned to work with students in the OTP program.
2. The district must provide support for students in the program (training and/or counseling).
3. The district must provide opportunities for field placement.
4. The mentor or district must be engaged with the students and their families to help them plan for college, understand the impact of teaching on the community, and understand OTP.
5. The mentor must engage in professional development and training, and provide pre-collegiate course work for students in OTP through EOU and Early College Initiatives.
