Process to Waive EOU Academic Program Requirement

The Registrar’s Office does not oversee a formal process for submitting petitions requesting that a program requirement be waived or substituted.

Advisors should submit all program requests to the discipline chair of the relevant academic program. If the discipline chair approves the waiver or substitution request, that approval can be emailed to degreeworks@eou.edu or the discipline chair can add that approval as a petition to the students Degreeworks audit.
