Diploma Information

Your diploma is a ceremonial document recognizing the completion of your degree at Eastern Oregon University.

Please note: your official transcript is the legal proof of degree completion and may be requested by employers or graduate schools. Transcripts must be ordered separately through Parchment.

When Will I Receive My Diploma?

Diplomas are ordered after all degrees are officially conferred each term.
Please allow 6-8 weeks after the end of the term for printing and delivery.
Diplomas are mailed to the address listed in your student record, so please ensure your mailing address is up to date.

Need a replacement diploma? Eastern Oregon University offers both digital and paper diplomas. You can now order directly through Parchment, where you’ll be able to track your order.

Costs:

Standard replacement (same name as originally issued diploma): $25
Replacement diploma with a different name: $50

Can I change the name on my diploma?

Yes. You’ll have the option to request a name change within the ordering process through Parchment.

What if my diploma is lost or damaged?

You can order a replacement anytime through Parchment.

Do employers need my diploma or my transcript?

Most employers. graduate schools, and licensing boards require an official transcript, not the diploma. Please verify with the requesting party what documentation is needed.

Can I order multiple copies?

Yes. Parchment allows you to request more than one replacement diploma if needed.
