Planning documents

Land Use Analysis – Evaluating existing zoning and current uses within and adjacent to the corridor is important. In addition, researching master planning documents for the rail corridor and within communities that intersect with the rail line will provide you with knowledge that will make the building process of the trail much easier. Next, preparing reports and presenting at Trail Concept Review Committee meetings will assist with gathering information regarding the trail.

Here is an example of a table that was created to display the information regarding the area in the proposed trail zone. Creating tables like this will allow you to view the information in a simple form.
