What You Will Learn
- Foundations of Literacy & Dyslexia: Gain a deep understanding of typical and atypical literacy development, historical perspectives, and foundational concepts surrounding dyslexia (ED 590).
- Language & the Reading Brain: Examine the neurological mechanics of reading, language structures, cognitive processing, and how dyslexia impacts brain function during reading tasks (ED 591).
- Diagnostic Assessment: Master informal and formal assessment tools to identify reading difficulties, evaluate literacy progress, and pinpoint specific dyslexia risk factors (ED 592).

- Degree Requirement: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
