LA GRANDE, Ore. – One week before Election Day, Oregonians can ask their questions about voting directly to the state’s top election official and its senior U.S. senator at a virtual Town Hall moderated by EOU’s President.
On Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m., Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read and U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden will join Eastern Oregon University President Dr. Kelly Ryan for the Oregon Votes Town Hall, a free virtual event. Ryan will moderate the conversation.
The nonpartisan discussion will focus on voting and the Nov. 3 state and national General Election, giving participants a chance to learn how Oregon’s elections work, ask questions, and understand why participation matters.
The event is open to the public. Follow this link to the Secretary of State’s Office to RSVP and receive the event address or a link to the livestream.
