LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Univerity will be holding its annual Human Resources Benefits Fair and Flu Shot Clinic for EOU employees and state agencies. This fair is a great chance to learn about retirement opportunities and wellness resources at EOU, while also showcasing local businesses.
The Benefits Fair will take place Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Gilbert Center. The Red Cross Drug will be offering annual flu shots. An insurance card will be needed in order to get the immunization.
“We like providing a place where employees and their families can come to get flu shots and have the paperwork submitted for them,” said Assistant Human Resource Director and Benefits Manager, Jacque Naegle.
Other vendors that will be present are Fidelity, TIAA, Oregon Public Universities Retirement Plans, PERS, Oregon Savings and Growth, Providence, Moda, Willamette, VSP, Standard, Life Flight, Grande Ronde Fitness Center, Anytime Fitness, Mountain Valley Therapy, Valley Insurance, Union County Emergency Management, CHD, Sodexo and NEON.
“One of the primary ways the university engages with the community is through our employees,” said Naegle. “This is a great opportunity to connect them with local businesses in La Grande.
