About Swathi Weaver
Dr. Swathi Weaver, Ph.D., LPC-S (TX) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and board-approved supervisor in the state of Texas. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from The University of Texas at San Antonio, her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas. Swathi has many years of experience working with clients in rural populations and underserved areas. Her passion is in crisis counseling and in helping clients who are typically underrepresented in counseling settings. Swathi’s research interests include increasing access to mental health care through integrated behavioral health and studying eating disorder risk in Indian American women.
