About Christine McNichols Witt

Dr. Christine McNichols, Ph.D., LPC-S (TX), NCC is licensed as a professional counselor and supervisor in the state of Texas and is Board Certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and an M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi, and a B.A. in English from The University of Colorado- Boulder. Her clinical experience focuses on challenges impacting women’s mental health and well-being and the prevention of family violence. Her research interests include counselor supervision and practice in rural communities, postmodern approaches to counseling, creative approaches to counseling and counselor training, poetry therapy, and the development of self-reflective practice.
