Thank you for being willing to partner with Eastern Oregon University with our sponsored dual credit courses. You’re a vital part of the program and we look forward to supporting you throughout the year.

Interested in teaching dual credit?

Partnering to offer dual credit courses involves specific requirements for teachers and district administrations. Detailed expectations can be found in the Early College Handbook.

Guide students in filling out their application for Eastern Oregon University.
If applicable, send home and communicate directly with the Early College Initiative’s office upon receiving students’ financial responsibility forms.
Scan and email completed financial responsibility forms to eci@eou.edu.
Attend two PLC meetings with PLC leaders and one annual orientation with ECI.
Complete all planned EOU faculty training before the first day of the high school dual credit class.
Administration will be notified if the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) guidelines are not followed to ensure compliance with state regulations by the university and high schools.
Adhere to all deadlines to ensure students are successfully enrolled in coursework and receive credit for their classes.

Winter 2026 Dates

November 7, 2025 – High school student registration opens for Winter term
January 5, 2026 – Winter term classes begin
January 9, 2026 – Last day to add a class from EOU online/on-campus Faculty via Mountie Hub
January 30, 2026– Last day to add a class from high school dual credit instructor via Mountie Hub
January 30, 2026 – Last day to drop a course with no grade
March 20, 2026 – Winter term ends
March 24, 2026 – Winter grades post at noon (PST)

Spring 2026 Dates

February 16, 2026 – High school student registration opens for Spring term
March 30, 2026 – Spring term classes begin
April 3, 2026 – Last day to add a class from EOU online/on-campus Faculty via Mountie Hub
April 24, 2026 – Last day to add a class from high school dual credit instructor via Mountie Hub
April 24, 2026 – Last day to drop a course with no grade
June 12, 2026 – Spring term ends

Need training for students or teachers directly from Early College Specialists? Let us know!
If a student is struggling with registration or if it would be beneficial for EOU to provide support to an entire dual credit class or multiple courses during registration time, we’re here to help. Early College Initiatives can offer support via video conferencing, and in some cases, in-person visits may be arranged. Please contact us to coordinate a time that works best for your school.
