LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is opening the Mountaineer Information Center (MIC) on the first floor of Inlow Hall on Sept. 23, 2024. The MIC will be a one-stop information shop for students with questions about all things EOU including financial aid, academic advising, and even directions on how to navigate campus. Students will also be able to schedule appointments, get referrals and pick up their student ID. Additionally, the MIC will house a Food Pantry.
“We understand that university life can be overwhelming at times, but the Mountaineer Information Center is here to help,” said Tressa Seydel, Director of ROI and Online Operations. “Our goal is to ensure that every student feels supported and connected to the campus community.”
The MIC’s team is ready to assist both on-campus and online students. Students can visit the MIC in person at Inlow Hall or explore the resources available online at eou.edu/mountaineer-information-center. To connect with the MIC, call 541-962-3000 or email mountaineer-information-center@eou.edu.
