LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University’s Alumni Association invites all Mountaineers and friends to experience the excitement of professional soccer at the EOU Alumni Association Timbers Takeover, taking place Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Providence Park in Portland.
Come together with fellow EOU graduates, friends, and families to cheer on the Portland Timbers as they face off against Minnesota United. The evening of fun and connection kicks off when gates open at 5:30 p.m., with the match beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person and include access to the South Deck — EOU has secured a private section right behind the goal where fans can catch every thrilling moment up close.
“We’re thrilled to host an event that brings together alumni from across the region to reconnect and celebrate their Mountaineer pride while enjoying an unforgettable evening of soccer,” said Geoff Atwill, Executive Director of Development and Alumni Engagement.
