LA GRANDE, Ore. – On April 3, Oregon Humanities will host an onstage conversation addressing the crisis of poverty, addiction, and homelessness in communities across America. Renowned journalist Eli Saslow, from the New York Times, will lead the discussion.
While the event will take place at the Alberta Rose Theatre in Portland it will be live streamed for free on YouTube. Additionally, Oregon Humanities will host a live screening of the conversation at HQ, located at 112 Depot Street in La Grande, starting at 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for Saslow during the event.
