Meet the Strategic Equity Initiatives Staff
The Center for Strategic Equity Student Support team are dedicated to meeting students where they are with culturally and identity-responsive guidance, ensuring that every EOU student—especially first-generation, rural, low-income, international, and/or culturally diverse students—feels seen, valued, and supported. By recognizing the unique challenges all our students may face, the staff provides compassionate academic, social and transitional support, referrals, and access to essential resources tailored to their individual journeys.
Our goal is to create a welcoming space where all students can navigate personal, social, and academic growth while honoring their identities, experiences, and aspirations. We collaborate with faculty, staff, student organizations, and community partners, to foster an environment where all students can thrive, succeed, and feel a true sense of belonging.
