La GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University’s (EOU) College of Education hosted a successful job fair and career seminar in Loso Hall on Friday, March 8. The event connected students with potential future employment opportunities in education and provided professional development opportunities.
The Career Seminar and Job Fair featured informative lectures on interview tips, resume and cover letter writing strategies, the relationship between social media and school safety, and a Q&A session on teacher contracts. District representatives from various Oregon schools were present to engage with students.
Distinguished speakers at the event included representatives from Hermiston School District, Stanfield School District, Pine Eagle School District, La Grande School District, Pendleton School District, Klamath County School District, and Milton-Freewater School District. The event concluded with some districts conducting live interviews on-site.
