LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the new Fieldhouse. In line with the university’s educational mission that values athletic and recreational programs, the new Fieldhouse will give the space and resources needed for all students to safely enjoy the Eastern experience.
The ceremony will take place at the Fieldhouse on Oct. 22, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Following the ceremony tours of the facility will be available throughout the day. Kyle Pfaffenbach, Health and Human Performance Instructor and Michael Hatch, Director of the Outdoor Adventure Program, will be guiding the tours.
Attendees are encouraged to join in the Tailgate Zone, EOU Football, Overtime Downtown and Alumni basketball and baseball/softball games to celebrate the opening. To see more Homecoming Oktoberfest events, visit eou.edu/alumni/homecoming/.
