Public Policy Minor

MINOR PROGRAM CHECK SHEET

Program Requirements:

Public Policy is a minimum 30 credit hour minor. A grade of “C-” or better is required for each course counting towards the minor, but a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.00 is required for completion of the minor.

Students must complete at least 20 graded credits in upper division courses counting toward the minor

A minimum of 10 credit hours counting toward the minor must be completed at Eastern Oregon University.

Students pursuing a combination of Public Policy, Political Science, Pre-Law, and Public Administration minors may apply POLS 101 to more than one minor. No other courses can overlap and apply to more than one minor.

Students pursuing a combination of Public Policy, Political Science, Pre-Law and Public Administration minors must take POLS 409 multiple times, once for each minor. No more than 5 credits of POLS 409 can be counted towards any of the above minors.

Total credits required for major: 30

If the requirements for the minor are not met at the time of graduation, the minor will not be awarded.
