Faculty Writing Group

All EOU faculty members are welcome to join the EOU Faculty Writing Group that is facilitated by the Writing Center. This is a low stakes, low pressure writing group that is designed to help faculty members reach their own professional writing goals for academic, creative, and public works. The group meets for an hour every other week throughout the academic year. Participants choose the approach based on their own needs at the time of the meeting. Time may be spent reading a draft, commenting on a draft, sharing a draft, talking through ideas, or used as an accountability group to independently complete reading or writing goals.
