Dr Timmermann is a biological psychologist, with interests in brain development, experience-based changes in neural communication, and neuropsychology. She teaches General Psychology, Introduction to Lifespan Development, Brain and Behavior, Motivation, and Neuropsychology, among other courses.

Zoe Johnson-Ulrich studies animal cognition; her research questions relate to the evolution of cognitive abilities and whether humans and animals share cognition. She is primarily focused on behavioral flexibility, causal reasoning, and problem-solving skills. She has studied a wide range of animals such as bears, big cats, striped skunks, and horses. Her current projects are focused on behavioral flexibility in horses, but she is willing to work with other species (like pet dogs and cats) for undergraduate projects.

Dr. Olivia Kuljian is a social psychologist whose research investigates uncertainty, prototypicality, leadership, intergroup relations, extreme group behavior, and dehumanization through the lens of social identity theory. Within these domains, her work explores how uncertainty surrounding one’s social identity, group standing, or group leader affects how people understand themselves as well as how they may view and treat members of opposing groups. She teaches Social Psychology, Psychology of Diversity, Personality Psychology, Research in Psychology, and Research Methods.

Anthony R. Stenson is a cognitive psychologist whose research investigates the affective (emotional) and cognitive processes involved in adaptive decision making under risk. Within these domains, his work investigates the processes related to how individuals flexibly adapt to changing circumstances, particularly in situations that have probabilistic outcomes. Additionally, this work utilizes both behavioral, computational, and neurophysiological approaches to test theories relating to how the brain deals with ever changing environments. He teaches Cognitive Psychology, Statistics and Experimental Design, Motivation, Experimental Research in Psychology, and Research Methods.

Felicia Kademian-Saini, Ph.D. is a trained clinical psychologist who has worked in a variety of clinical settings including psychiatric inpatient facilities, LGBT Center in Los Angeles, and Kaiser Permanente. While working within the clinical field, she became a specialist working with eating disorders, trauma, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Her research interests tend to focus on understanding various underserved communities, behavioral medicine, and resiliency. She also runs the Resiliency and Behavioral Medicine (RBM) lab at EOU.
