Advance your career in school leadership with EOU’s fully online Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. This 40-credit program is aligned with Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) principal licensure standards and can be completed in 1–2 years.
Designed for working educators, the program offers a flexible format that combines asynchronous coursework with scheduled synchronous sessions. Candidates engage in 300+ hours of embedded clinical practice, gaining hands-on experience in instructional leadership, school improvement, and organizational management.
Throughout the program, students receive personalized support from faculty, a university supervisor, and a practicing mentor administrator, ensuring meaningful connections between theory and practice.
Graduates are prepared to lead equitable, student-centered schools, support teacher development, and improve outcomes for all learners. Upon completion, candidates are eligible to apply for principal licensure in Oregon.
