Dr. Jackie Morgan is Senior Instructor II for HHP teaching primarily in the Exercise Science and Physical Education concentrations. Dr. Morgan’s academic and clinical training has provided her with a diverse background ranging from injury prevention and rehabilitation, to fitness training and movement specialist, to human performance. Her classes prepare students to further their education in graduate programs such as athletic training, allied health sciences (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation and Health Sciences, etc.), physical education (MAT), and performance (Movement, Exercise, and Neuromuscular Sciences). In addition, her course help prepare students for fitness training certifications (CSCS, CPT, etc.) and entry into health and fitness career fields. As the supervisor of EOU’s MOVE Lab, Jackie’s primary focus is integrating the fields of exercise science, including kinesiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics and motor control into her course work and participating in interdisciplinary student projects. When not teaching or working in the MOVE Lab, you can find her running, biking, hiking, and walking her dog.
