This hands-on, interdisciplinary program gives high school students the chance to explore Digital Music, Business, Writing, and Spanish in a fun and supportive college setting. Students experience what college life is really like by learning on campus, interacting with Eastern Oregon University (EOU) faculty and students, and connecting with peers from different places. The program creates a true college environment where participants build confidence, try new subjects, and experience academic and campus life in an engaging, welcoming community—helping them imagine themselves as future college students.

Cottonwood Crossing Summer Institute (CCSI) is a week-long residential field studies program for high school students currently in grades 9-12. Participants choose from five course options where they learn about locally significant cultural or natural resources. Projects are led by EOU faculty, EOU Capstone students, and other regional professionals.

MedQuest health career exploration camp gives students an exclusive look at the world of healthcare during a week-long camp. Students get to try out college dorm life, shadow health professionals, sit in on fascinating presentations and medical panels, and much more. The Spring Symposium is an opportunity for all undergraduate students at Eastern Oregon University to showcase and present their creative activities and accomplished studies to fellow students, faculty and the community. Students present on a variety of topics spanning the breadth of scholarly work undertaken on our campus.
