¡CONÉCTATE!

¡Conéctate! gathering will be hosted by Treasure Valley Community College and held at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, Oregon in 2026.

Since its beginning in 2017, ¡Conéctate! has brought together Latino-serving organizations, partners, and community members from across Eastern Oregon for a one-day gathering focused on connection and collaboration. ¡Conéctate! creates opportunities to build strong relationships with local leaders, volunteers, students, and community members, and provides space for open conversations about shared challenges, successes, and community experiences.

Now in its 9th year, ¡Conéctate! is hosted by one of Eastern Oregon University’s valued partners, Treasure Valley Community College, and will take place at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, Oregon. This year’s gathering brings together faculty, staff, students, and community partners from across the region to engage with keynote speakers and interactive workshops focused on healing, storytelling, and community connection. Participants will also share practical approaches that support student persistence, leadership development, and long-term success.

This year’s gathering offers opportunities to connect with local leaders, students, educators, and community members from across Eastern Oregon. We invite students, faculty, staff, community members, and partners from Eastern Oregon and beyond to join us for a day of connection, learning, and shared conversation. This event is free and open to the public.

Building on the foundation of previous ¡Conéctate! gatherings, this year’s event continues to highlight personal experiences, cultural traditions, and community knowledge as important sources of learning and growth. In alignment with this year’s theme, we invite workshop proposals that recognize the importance of healing and share practical approaches that support connection, reflection, and collective growth across rural and regional communities.

¡Conéctate! welcomes community organizations, vendors, and partners interested in engaging with students, faculty, and staff from K–12 and higher education institutions across Eastern Oregon.
