Pre-Professional Health Assistant

Join our team as a Pre-Professional Health Assistant and get hands-on, project-based experience in a flexible, fun environment! You’ll create and manage event signage, keep our event calendar running like clockwork, reserve campus spaces, and help co-host events. You’ll also flex your creative side by designing social media content, while handling essential behind-the-scenes tasks like making copies, running campus errands, and keeping things organized. From crafting eye-catching flyers to coordinating event logistics, you’ll gain experience juggling tasks, meeting deadlines, and supporting a team in a dynamic environment. It’s a chance to build your professional toolkit in a flexible, fun setting—one copy, file, and event at a time.
Professional Development:
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:– Create & Manage Event Signage

Minimum Qualifications:– Federal Work Study Eligible
– Enrolled at EOU
Preferred Qualifications:– Current student – majoring in healthcare related program
– Reliable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned tasks
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Basic computer skills (email, word processing, social media posting)
– Comfortable communicating with students, staff, and event attendees
– Able to work independently and as part of a team
– Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
– Willing to move light event materials and occasionally be on your feet for event set-up/take-down
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Experience with Microsoft Office, Canva, social media platforms, & EOU website.
