Experiential Learning:Students will gain leadership, scheduling, and event coordination experience, while building strong communication and organizational skills. This role connects directly to future careers in student affairs, leadership, and service-oriented industries, while strengthening core employability skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and professionalism.
Professional Development:The role provides opportunities for leadership training, event planning, mentoring peers, and community engagement. Students will also gain experience in project management, staff development, and administrative coordination.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:– Serve as a point of contact and mentor for MOSAIC Center student staff
– Assist with scheduling and onboarding student workers
– Support daily operations, maintain a welcoming space, and assist with events
– Track attendance and manage communication tools
– Provide administrative and office support
Minimum Qualifications:– Current EOU student enrolled in 6+ credits and in good academic standing
– Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:– Previous experience in student leadership, teamwork, or customer service
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:– Commitment to student belonging, inclusivity, and community support
– Ability to manage scheduling and administrative tasks effectively
