Lead Student Ambassador

The Lead Student Ambassador provides mentorship, leadership, and support to the EOU Ambassador team while helping coordinate tours and events for prospective students. This position is ideal for students who enjoy public speaking, teamwork, and representing EOU in a professional and positive way. Previous students have appreciated the strong sense of community, flexible schedule, and opportunities for leadership growth.

Professional Development:The position offers opportunities for leadership training, ambassador development sessions, and professional communication experience through direct collaboration with staff and campus partners.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:– Lead and mentor the Student Ambassador team.
– Coordinate daily and group campus visits.
– Assist with planning and executing recruitment events.
– Communicate with guests, campus partners, and ambassadors.
– Send weekly updates and help lead meetings.
– Support administrative needs, track attendance, and monitor inventory.
– Maintain the ambassador website and campus visit email.
– Promote a positive, professional, and inclusive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:– Current EOU Student Ambassador in good standing
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Demonstrated reliability and initiative
Preferred Qualifications:– Prior leadership or mentoring experience
– Knowledge of EOU programs and campus resources
