Evening Student Custodian

Type of work schedule Fixed schedule; set days/times. Evening shift – typically beginning at 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Experiential Learning:– Gain workplace experience in custodial and facilities support.
– Build time management and responsibility skills through scheduled shifts.
– Learn the importance of maintaining clean and safe facilities for the campus community.
Professional Development:No prior experience is required; training will be provided on custodial tasks, safety procedures, and equipment use. Students will develop general workplace skills valuable in any career.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:– Vacuum and sweep hallways and stairwells
– Clean and maintain entryways
– Wipe windows and glass doors
– Perform other general custodial duties as assigned based on building or section
Minimum Qualifications:– No prior experience necessary
– Ability to perform physical work and follow safety procedures
– Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications:
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:– Dependability and responsibility in maintaining assigned areas
– Ability to work independently once trained
