Arts Fest

Arts Fest

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) is hosting our second annual EOU Arts Fest. The event will take place over two days, June 2nd and 3rd, with the bulk of events occuring on the 3rd.

This is an all ages event where everyone is welcome – community members, prospective students, alumni, EOU community (administrators, faculty, staff, students) or those just passing through. ArtsFest is an annual showcase of the creative talent at EOU and within the La Grande community. With performances by bands and EOU student organizations, theater performances, art exhibitions, studio tours, and artisan vendors.

The festival will be held on-campus at the Gilbert Center and Loso Hall with food trucks and Side A there to pour beer. The art program will have hands-on activities. Various music and performances will take place throughout the day. Evening performances of The Tempest will take place on Friday and Saturday. There will be a Craft Fest where handmade arts/crafts will be for sale.

Our main goal is to have a day celebrating the arts and  highlighting locals making great art and food in our community. The event also offers alumni an opportunity to reconnect with faculty, friends and campus.
