Summer Institute 2013
Earn college credits as a high school student!
Summer Institute offers two 3-week sessions for high school students that have completed their sophomore, junior or senior year of study the opportunity to immerse themselves in the college experience. Students have the opportunity to participate in either of the 3-week sessions, or both if they chose to do so. On-campus housing is available for distance and out-of-state students.
Summer Institute Dates:
Session 1
Check-in Sunday June 23rd
Classes will run Monday June 24th through Friday July 12th
Session 2
Check-in Sunday July 14th
Classes will run Monday July 15th through Friday August 2nd

Scholarship Essay for the Eastern Oregon Summer Institute
The EOU Summer Institute affords high school students the opportunity to “live and learn” by spending three weeks living on campus and attending college courses. This early college experience is an excellent opportunity to get college credit while still in high school.
In order to be considered for a scholarship to attend the program, you must submit a well written essay (maximum 500 words) describing:
* Why you want to attend this program
* What are your future college and career aspirations and how will your participation enhance those ambitions?
