Webmail for Students Groupware for Staff/Faculty
We are not responsible for lost or deleted e-mail – if it is an important document be sure to print it off and feel free to save the letter as a text document in your files.
Webmail Interface Options:
Windows OS:
Advanced IE 6.+ (Internet Explorer) - required to allow popup windows for that site only.
Simple - will work with any web browser and does not require the popup window to be allowed.
Macintosh OS: Choose the Simple interface when using a Macintosh computer.

EOU Webmail FAQ's:
- Email is only permanent when you have a printed copy of it - we are not able to restore any email in your folders.
- Some retired staff and faculty and a select few other accounts can still use this webmail system with their facstaff.eou.edu account login and password. Not for Faculty/Staff accounts on the Groupware System
- 30 mb inbox storage limit - 80 mb total for all folders. If your email becomes "disk quota exceeded" it will not accept any new email or let you login on the Webmail. Contact helpdesk@eou.edu for options and help with repair.
- Sent folder keeps a copy of your sent mail
- Create new folders and setup email filters
- If email deleted – gone forever
- Address book and Calendar
- E-mail stored in other folders will not download into a POP mail program - only those in the inbox. To get it back into your inbox simply email it to yourself again.
- If you delete large quantities it can lock up when you click on a new function too quickly – let it finish a task before moving on to a new one. (can lock for up to 25 minutes - then will allow you to login again).
