There are many ways of sending and receiving email - personal preference and availability of the software is the only choice you have to make. This is a list of possibilities to use with your @eou.edu address.

Here is the general information you will need to use along with your email address, login and password. Follow your e-mail account information to know which incoming mail server to use.

  1. Incoming mail/POP3:

                             legacy.eou.edu OR students.eou.edu OR facstaff.eou.edu

  1. Outgoing mail/SMTP :

                                                  eou.edu
(if you don't dialup with EOU for your internet service then using eou.edu will only allow you to send to other @eou.edu addresses.  In order to send to other e-mail addresses you must use the outgoing mail server name of the ISP that you are using for their email acccount settings.)
