Welcome to Groupware Basics:
Welcome to EOU! Groupware is the Email system for Staff and Faculty. Here is a bit of information to get you started using Groupware - don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!
- You must change your default email address setting before using the system: In the email window, click on ‘Options’ in the upper left area, then scroll down to the ‘Default Email address’ section, change it to the username@eou.edu, and click Save. Click Close in the upper left area and you can now continue to use the e-mail system. Other changes can be made at any time to your email settings, folders or signatures by going back to the Options.
- There is a quick link for using Groupware - it is under Faculty/Staff at www.eou.edu. (The email link on the home page is only for student use.)
- When using a Windows operating system any web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, works fine. If using a Macintosh operating system the best browser option is Mozilla Firefox (free download from www.mozilla.com)
- You may change your password if you wish
- Follow the newest Groupware information on the Forum or post a question by clicking on the Forum access button inside Groupware – then choosing the “Groupware Questions and Answers”.
- Always exit Groupware by clicking on the logout link (upper right by setup)
