EOU vs. Northwest

This past Friday, EOU’s mens basketball team faced Northwest in an intense double overtime game. The game was played here at Quinn Coliseum. The ending score turned out to be 77-93. The game was really close, until it came down to the wire. That’s when EOU eventually closed it out and won the game.

Since the game turned out to be very long, some of our players had to play extra minutes. Max McCullough ended up playing fifty minutes and scored twenty-four points. Austin Winegar, a senior, played forty-three minutes. Jordan May also heavily contributed to the scoring. He got twenty points and played for forty-eight minutes.

This was the type of game that had everyone on their seats. The score went back and forth the whole game. It could have easily went either way. Through it all, our EOU mens team put on a great show and won the game while doing it.
