Submit all official transcripts &#8211; including your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/veterans\/military-training-transcripts\/\">Military Training Transcripts<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&nbsp;* if you are not seeking a degree from EOU<\/em><br><em>** Students who have previously been admitted to EOU<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STEP 2:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply for Student Federal Aid<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Complete the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fafsa.ed.gov\/\">Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)<\/a> online. EOU Federal school code is 003193<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B. Review the <a title=\"EOU Military Financial Aid\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/scholarships\/military\/\">EOU Military Financial Aid<\/a> options, including the EOU &#8220;Service to Country&#8221; scholarship application<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STEP 3:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply for military education benefits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A. Review your options for the military education benefits based on your eligibility<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B. Contact your local Veterans Service Officer&nbsp;(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oregon.gov\/odva\/VSODIRECT\/pages\/locator.aspx\">Oregon Residents<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvf.org\/links\/veteran-service-officers\">Outside of Oregon<\/a>) regarding questions on which of your eligible military education benefits would be most beneficial to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C. Apply online for your GI Bill\u00ae benefits at <a title=\"GI Bill Education Benefits homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gibill.va.gov\">www.gibill.va.gov<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C. Once it is clear which benefit you have chosen and are eligible to receive, contact the appropriate EOU representative (see contact information listed on this page):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"mailto:djones@eou.edu\">Dorothy Jones &#8211; EOU Certifying Official, Chapter 33, 35, 30, 31, 1606 &amp; 1607<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"mailto:thirdpartybilling@eou.edu\">Nanda VanHouten&nbsp; &#8211; Military Tuition Assistance, Chapter&#8217;s 31 &amp; 33<\/a><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>D.&nbsp;<a style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #2576bf;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gibill.va.gov\/resources\/verify_attendance\/\">Verify your school attendance<\/a>: If receiving benefits under Chapters 30, 1606 and 1607 do this on either the first or last day of each month during the current term. &nbsp;Your benefits will not be paid if you do not verify.
